Why us
  • The two principals do the work. There is no bench, no subcontracted offshore team and no account layer.
  • Fifteen years of infrastructure and security practice in environments where an audit is routine.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Professional.
  • We design, deploy and operate our own SaaS product on AWS, so we are judged by what we run, not what we present.
  • A fixed-price entry engagement, the AI Readiness Assessment, that produces a roadmap any vendor can execute.
Core competencies

What we are qualified to deliver.

AI and LLM implementation

Document intelligence and retrieval over agency records, extraction and classification, workflow automation, with human review and audit trails.

Secure cloud architecture on AWS

Account structure, identity, logging, encryption and network design shaped by FedRAMP environments. Infrastructure as code throughout.

Custom application development

Portals, scheduling and coordination tools, internal systems and integrations, delivered with source code and documentation.

Identity, logging and data governance

Who may do what, a record of every action, and controls on what data may leave the environment.

Managed operations

Monitoring, updates, cost control and defined support hours after delivery.

Key personnel

The people who would be on the contract.

Cold Lattice is a new entity, so past performance is presented as key personnel experience.

Kenneth Ziembo

Managing principal · architecture and security

Fifteen years running infrastructure in environments where an audit is a normal Tuesday. AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional. FedRAMP-grade security practice. Service-disabled veteran and majority owner.

James Sesler

Principal · engineering

Co-owner of Cold Lattice. Builds and runs the applications and integrations we deliver, from the first discovery sprint through handover.

Conflict of interest

We would rather lose the bid than the trust.

We decline any opportunity where a team member's other employment would give us non-public information about the requirement, the agency or the competition. We state this in writing to every prime we team with, before the teaming agreement, so the question never has to be asked.

For primes

We take defined work packages with clear acceptance criteria, report in your cadence and your tools, and hold the certificates and clauses your subcontract requires before work starts.
